I own these earbuds and they have really clear and crisp sound. They’re great for pop, rock, classical and acoustic music. They’re adequate for r&b and rap, but won’t shake your eardrums with low freq. Try adjusting the equalizer for a little more bass response. If the seal in your ears is right, the bass is not bad.

I recently got the Super.Fi 4vi and have been happy with it – comfy with foam tips, sound quality is decent.

Recommended if you ask me.

i currently own the scl 4 (e4c look alike) . . im fairly satisfied with it . . i did purchase the ue.4vi for 133 bucks(amazon) . . on their way. I wanted to go for the shure E 530 with the music phone attachment. they would be the most ultimate combo for the iphone . . . but they are hell expensive . . . .

The trick to achieving good bass with canal phones is to ensure there is a really good seal once the bud is inserted into the ear. Without a good seal they will sound tinny. In fact (as long as they are worn correctly) I would challenge you to find a set of full sized headphones that could deliver a truer bass than say a set of Shure E5c canal phones.

I don’t understand why these type of ear phone get reviews like this, I must be deaf there is NO BASS to these type of headset, I tried all the buds to get them to fit in my ears, even the highs where distorted, are you paid by this company to give false advertising? This isn’t the first set of these type of buds I have tried. Save you money.
